McCain came of like a dirty little weasel in the debate. He is just plain arrogant....not a good quality for a president.

The good news, if there is any, McCain will lose to any Democrat and then the Republicans will have another shot in 2012.

If by some miracle McCain was elected he would do more damage to the party than Nixon did.

I’ll vote for my congressman. He actually voted no on the economic (welfare) stimulus plan. For president? I don’t like any of them. It’s left and more left...

Prior to the debate, I decided that I would force myself to vote for McCain because of Iraq. Now, after seeing him go off the deep end like that, I’m completely disgusted by him, and I won’t ever vote for him.

Yup, you got that right. McNut is real sick. He would be dangerous as President.

I noticed that the terminator from California didn’t look too happy during the debate. It seems he is suffering from some conflict since he made the decision to go ahead and endorse McCain. Maybe the terminator should have waited a little while longer.

I think McCain has already done plenty of damage, he doesn’t need to be elected.

"His jealousy of Romney's business success also reminds me of liberals.

Can anyone say Keating Five? McCain's idea of doing business is mired in the political muck of favor trading with shady business operators.

Yep.
IMHO, people voting for McCain because of his military service, is the same as voting for John Kerry because he served in Viet Nam! We can appreciate his service, and feel sorry for him for his time as a POW. BUT that does not make him qualified to be the Republican nominee. If he represents the Republican Party, then I will have to withdraw from the Republican Party because he doesn’t represent me and my values at all.

I am with you 100%. I have a way to make a huge fortune this election cycle. One could market 2008 Presidental Nose Pinchers and they would sell like hot cakes! I know I will have to pinch my nose if it becomes John McCain. One of my district Vice Chairs told me she would not work at all for his presidency. She is going to work for other candidates, but not for McCain.

Last Clear Chance.
Vote for Mitt.

Yes, you could sure make some money on those. LOL

I have worked to help elect Republicans for several election cycles and I have always given to the RNC. After the Amnesty bill, I will never again give money to the RNC. I will support individual conservative candidates, and that is it.

I won't vote for Huckabee or McCain if they are the nominee. I will look for a third party candidate.

Any one who watched McCain at the debate last night, and is still willing to vote for him, well...they must not have seen what I saw.

Naw. Write in “Romney” like me. Or someone else whom you like. Don’t just leave it blank. Vote FOR someone.

McCain sure likes to name drop, doesn’t he? Funny, he didn’t name drop Juan Hernandez last night. Shouldn’t he disclose that he has a guy who is helping illegals working for him?

>Anybody else hear this?<

Yes, we did but it wasn't a surprise, at least to me.

The War Secrets Sen. John McCain Hides

But there was one subject that was off-limits, a subject the Arizona senator almost never brings up and has never been open about -- his long-time opposition to releasing documents and information about American prisoners of war in Vietnam and the missing in action who have still not been accounted for. Since McCain himself, a downed Navy pilot, was a prisoner in Hanoi for 5 1/2 years, his staunch resistance to laying open the POW/MIA records has baffled colleagues and others who have followed his career. Critics say his anti-disclosure campaign, in close cooperation with the Pentagon and the intelligence community, has been successful. Literally thousands of documents that would otherwise have been declassified long ago have been legislated into secrecy.

All the “open borders” people are latching on to him, including the media. They aren’t the majority of concerned citizens though.
