I work in a Fortune 100 company who's green initiatives are done simply as the right thing to do- not because of gov't regulations. Green initiatives not only make sense in terms of efficiency and cost, but are also a helluva selling feature.

I work for big tobacco, so to speak. Our regulation is on our product, and our company provides an amazing air filtration system for other reasons. We even install the same filtration in buildings that do not house employees. And your correct, the efficiency and cost savings are a terrific bonus. Oddly enough, most of us are non-smokers.
