I had never thought about that angle before. I see McCain in a very negative light and his age and health will be factored in. But it occurs to me that he could use those injuries to benefit his image.
You know, Bob Dole was another injured veteran and he didn’t have to talk about his problem, it was evident..However, he could not give a political speech that would capture the hearts of the people..He spoke like this:

Reagan could talk better than that in his sleep...what i am saying is: McCain has to really lay it on the line, quit lying to the people and really kick some ass if he expects to win in November..If he really is against amnesty now, then he had better say so clearly and emphatically...
my take is that that will not happen...spraypainting his stripes won’t change the zebra..But if that is the Rep to run against Hillary or Obama, then we have to get out and vote for him...like people say here-—ANYBODY but Hillary, or Obama, or any Dem...
