LOL my grandparents had I Like Ike buttons that they had saved. I think I still have one that they gave me.
You guys are getting to me with this Ike stuff. My 18th BD was election day that year so my Mom, who was a poll worker, took us on the bus so I could register beforehand and vote that day. We had no car. Then as luck would have it, he came to our town. On the bus we went again, my Mom so excited. A man took a picture of Ike waving and gave it to us. It's still in my old Bible I got when the folks died.
