Well, pass that along to the author. But it sounds like he wants to wipe the slate clean from affiliations. Though I was informed that one does not have to give up their existing party to join FALCON. We shall see where it goes.

why not stay and liven it up ?

Form a formidable conservative organization that will have some clout and demand respect. Currently the parties take their base for granted so they pander to the moderates who actually decide elections. Why give moderates that power.

If a "republican" wants to get elected he would have to be approved by the "Falcon's Talons" or forget about it.

through mass communication and membership education/involvement making the conservatives a solid voting block and a powerful big dog to be reckoned with, no more getting pushed around like a yapping chihuahua
