Did not effect me one way or another. I’m not voting for Hucklebee.
I know. I like that it’s going to be open. Worth checking out anyway.
They have a foreign policy akin to the libertarians and a trade policy out of 1847. And they have had scant success after many years. They used to be the National Taxpayers Party
If he stays in, I’ll have to decide between him and Duncan Hunter:’)
That is possible. But it is also possible to safeguard against it.
It sure seems they have zero intent of moving away from the monster that has been created. Now they are sipping the global warming koolaid.
Don’t want to see a party of protest. Want to see a legitmate conservative party flourish. We shall see where this goes.
Hillary lite may be better than Hillary, but the damage to the party itself will be worse.
Well, email the guy and tell him.
He used to be conservative back when Arizona was mostly populated by voting conservatives. But as it shifted left, he did too, to stay elelcted.
Arizona's two major lefty voting blocks are the hispanics (legal and otherwise), and the AARP. Arizona is to California what Florida is to New York. It's a retiree state.
People keep saying that he won Florida because of the Hispanic vote and this means he will do well in the Southwest. I think that is wrong. I think it was the AARP that put him over the top in FL--and I point to Rudi's poor showing as proof.
Except for Arizona, the border states do not have a strong AARP constituency. And even Arizona is fed up with illegal aliens as signified by the passage of news laws sanctioning employers who hire them that passed by 70+ percent margins.
The Border states do not like him. With Romny as their only alternative, I see Romny doing well in CA, AZ, NV, TX etc.
That is my hopeful analysis, anyway.
Cool. Do members get to use a secret handshake?
With Hucklebee as the wildcard.
Cause liberals have an agenda of socialism. All their fringe groups contribute to that. The GOP has an agenda of staying in power, and are fearful of devolution of power as most strong conservatives want to see happen.
GOP abandoned conservatives, time to abandon them. Sure a new party will lose a few but conservatives would be no worse off than now and the future would look more promising. Can’t change from within - leaders do not follow the platform, if in fact, they don’t bother to read it.
That is why I fight. I will not succomb to the notion of the fight for constitutional governance being over, even if the GOP goes along with it, as they seem to be doing.
I give the GOP 10 to 15 years, maximum. A new party is needed to receive the the people who finally wake up and leave it.
We don’t have to give up the fight to change within either. The FALCON will be open to all conservatives, regardless of party affiliation. What it won’t be open to is those who want to water it down.
That’s why we gotta get moving now, so we are in a position to fill the void.
Don’t know, don’t particularly care.
No need to toss the baby with the bathwater. By all means work inside the GOP to change its direction. You are still welcome in Falcon.
