I still think it is a crappy name. People will just think you’re an Atlanta fan.
Well, take that up with the founder. Maybe he is a Atlanta fan though. LOL
Ireland looks good to me right now as a place to move to. Low taxes and the weather can not be any worse than here in CT
Are there any left?
That is one avenue. But I found out there is no requirement to leave your party to join the Falcons, so there you have it.

Not quite there. But marching towards it.
The NFL is to the U.S. what the bread and circuses were to Rome. A nice diversion while the country is ruined from within... (You could also include non-stop coverage of celebrities like Britney and Paris in this equation).
Don’t get me wrong, I can appreciate a good football game — I love football! But, it’s true that the majority of Americans have not a clue about what is really going on in Washington, and it’s not like the MSM will report anything without bias any longer. One would have to spend everyday reading proposed bills on the Congressional website to even know what’s being shuffled through (it’s not like our reps read the things...).
UGH... I could go on and on and on... This is truly a sad time for our country, and indeed for the world if the U.S. goes the way of Rome. I fear it may already be too late frankly...
McAztlan? LOL
So, this would be sorta like the Conservative Party of New York?
I reckon it would be, at least until it grows to the point of fielding national ticket candidates.

And no one pours new wine into old wineskins. If he does, the new wine will burst the skins, ad both the wine and the wineskins will be ruined.
Some joe schmoe, I reckon. But one that obviously is not too enamored with the direction of the GOP as of late.
I guess SPARROW was already taken.
Sign me up then!
“All politics is local” We have to start where we live, and work within our communities and stop the socialist (communist) tide. As you said — educate the people — that’s the first and most important step, IMHO. There are so many HUGE obstacles that prevent a third party from gaining traction in our country, I really do think it’s best to work from within...
Honestly though, I’m still skeptical that even with a very large conservative contingent working hard throughout the party that we would be able to dislodge the “insiders” of Washington.
I agree wholeheartedly, but the answer is not for us to vote for McCain just because we hate Hillary more! Then if McCain does win, the GOP will think things are just fine and dandy. We need to toughen up and let the Democrats have this one to send a message to the GOP, so maybe we can try again in 4 years with a real candidate. As Rush says, the Democrats can't destroy the country in a mere presidential term. Hopefully by that time McCain will be drinking soup from a straw and we can stop this stupid entitlement nomination crap (aka "Bob Dole '96 version 2.0").
Besides, given McCain's record, I don't see a huge difference if he were in the White House versus Clinton. He votes with the Democrats anyway. He supports amnesty. He doesn't like SC justices like Alito. He's a complete baby when he doesn't get his way. He wants to shut down Guantanamo. And last but not least, he hates conservatives.
I'd rather spork my eyes out than vote for him.
