You and Free Republic are the extreme fringe of the Republican party.
With that "extreme fringe of the Republican party" you and your elitist cronies have no power.
Insult us and ignore us at your own peril Dufus!

“But Ill vote for Obama, and stay home for Hillary. I am the core of the Republican Party. Buh bye.”
I don’t think you’re alone.

Should have said:

Posting in haste and anger causes you to write strange things.

Have you actually ever met or seen Bloomberg? He’s no Perot and he certainly is not a huge personality.. in fact is about as boring and uncharismatic as Mike Fisher.
Bloomberg can’t show up on late night talk shows and get folks attention, let alone fund a campaign and get networks to sell him air time.
I think trying to compare 2008 to 1996 is a conjecture in futility. There is nothing similar. Dole ran a HORRIBLE campaign, he was the “party’s” candidate from the get go, picked a lousy VP, ran against a incumbent and was still going at a time when the press carried huge water and was the primary source of info for most americans. None of these things are true today.

“I happen to be of the opinion that the dem nominee will be Hillary (!) and that anyone the GOP puts forth will win. I could be wrong, of course, but I still think another Clintoon co-presidency will be the motivation for Americans to keep The Beast and her horndog hubby out of the WH.”
Why would Hillary be worse than McCain?

I can hear the debates between Hillary and McCain...
Hillary “I was first to suggest that there should be controls on political speech on talk radio”
McCain - “I was the fist to actually put controls on speech with during elections.”
No matter which one wins, conservatives have lost the election. Actually, Hillary may prove the more conservative of between her and McCain.

You had to post this, didn’t you?
As I watched McCain talk at his victory speech tonight I thought to myself, “I’m watching Bob Dole all over again.”

"BUCK UP YOU SORELOSERS! MCCAIN IS GONNA WIPE THE FLOOR WITH THE BEAST!"
Of course. Almost all of the newer generation of voters will vote against what Hillary represents. Most older voters will vote for the man who referred to her with the _B_-word, too. She's America's ex-wife and mother-in-law.
"OR THE MUSLIM!"
I'm not sure that McCain can get more votes than Obama. If our Nation had a will to fight (including going into Iran) and wanted an experienced, dedicated commander-in-chief, Hunter would be headed for the presidency. Because of so much talk about racial stuff in the media over the past few years, there's a score to settle on that, though.

Why would think Hillobama’s appointments would be worse than McCain’s?

Hillary will take the Dem nomination, and McCain will beat her. I wish I could be happy about that, but Im not really. If that happens we will get hillary's and ted kennedy's programs and the GOP will get the blame for the recession and terrorist (and maybe worse) attacks that it causes.

True conservatives will not sit idly by and allow Hillary Obama to become president. The few fringe "conservatives" that refuse to vote will be more than made up for by new independent and rational Democratic voters than a McCain candidacy will bring in.
In short, the fringe are no longer needed and no longer welcome. For too long they have dragged the Party down to loss or at best slim victory. No more 2006s.
