Look forward to fishing with you if McLame is the nominee .... People in AZ are trying to tell the rest of the country about him .... given that that sleezeball won't even carry his own home state .... and as one who worked hard on his recall before 9/11 .... I've been telling EVERYONE (including local elected Repubs) that stopping the recall was a BIG mistake .... he needed to be taken out YEARS ago ... and the recall was on track to collecting the required signatures to force a recall election .... I still have my "RECALL PETITIONS HERE" banner ... and given that he lost the straw polls in AZ just within the last couple of weeks .... the rest of the country should SIT UP AND TAKE NOTICE .... :(
If this dirt bag is the nominee, then I'll buy the beer for our fishing expedition on voting day.
Cool. And I think WVNan is going to join us.
“Giving millions of illegal immigrants a pathway to citizenship is. There is just no other other reasonable course of action.”
And if you are a poor, downtrodden Mexican or Ecuadoran and you hear that McAmnesty just came through for your kinsmen, why the hell would you not follow their lead, obviously Uncle Sucker has no will to enforce it’s laws.
It is frustrating, but nevertheless, our troops have done an outstanding job in protecting our nation, and millions of Americans still give them the loyalty, honor and respect that they deserve. I believe that our military forces are the reason that the world hasn't totally gone to blazes and we have not suffered another 9/11-like attack on U.S. soil.
Hillary Clinton would devastate the morale of our armed forces and weaken our sovereignty. It would be outrageous to allow her to be elected, and an insult to our soldiers and their families who have sacrificed so much over the last several years. We can't afford "protest votes" because the GOP candidate, whoever it is, is imperfect on other issues.
At the time they were in such disarray, with the likes of all the candidates, and issues they were fielding, we all were certain it was the end of the Moon-Bat Party. No way could their tent hold all their radical and diamtrically opposed ideals and political philosophies.
Now look at US
ROFLMAO. And that's what hey're doing. Did they somehow out Carl Rove us? Or perhaps Carl Rove was in fact our undoing.
All of your pontificating, chest-beating and shrieking hysteria is meaningless. In the NH primary there was a -5.7% Republican turnout, while the Democrats had a +45% increase over 2000 election turnout.
Say what you will, but you will get the government you deserve (and most ESPECIALLY if you stay home).
Write-in Ron Paul.
If Romney got it, I’d hold my nose and vote for him over Clinton or Obama.
Actually, I’d wear a protective suit and vote for Romney.
I will not tolerate McCain’s anti-free speech crap.
That McCain-Feingold stuff in absurd.
He also voted against the 2001 tax cuts. I am not going to vote for this fraud.
Thank you for your input.
Shrieking hysteria, pouting, sulking, and threatening to hold your breath until your face turns blue isn't going to get you anywhere.
The American people have spoken: they don't want anything to do with LIbertarianism, nor with conservatism, nor with reactionary liberalism (Edwards went down in flames too). Now its a question of those on opposite sides of the moderate box.
And my guess is they'll rather go for slightly farther left than Shrilley (rather than perpetuate the Bush-Clinton-Bush-Clinton Constitutional Monarchy), or they'll go with the more populist of the two choices to the right of the moderate box.
Facts is facts, man - damn them facts - if but for facts we'd all be liberals emoting our way through this grand an fleeting thing calle "life". Wanna piss a liberal off? Through facts at 'em. Wanna piss off a conservative? Throw facts at 'em that they don't like when they're in the mood to emote like a bunch of good little neurotic libs.
That's what you guys all remind me of: a bunch of neurotic screaming hysteric libs that are coming down from a sugar high.
My other option, if worse comes to worse, is to vote for Obama. If I have to put up with a liberal in the WH, I prefer Obama.
But one thing certain in my mind: its a no-brainer who to vote for in the general election.
Gee, who to vote for? A guy that agrees with me 45 out of 100 times or a with that agrees with me 8 out of 100 times? D'oh.
I'd even vote for HuckaPhoney (at 40 out of 100 times he agrees with me), or even The Truther Paul (at 28 out of 100 times) before even considering voting for anybody that agreed with me less than 8 out of 100 times.
Sorry state of affairs, but life is rough get over it. Isn't that what we are so fond of telling all the welfare receipiants?
I truly believe that voting for Duncan Hunter or Fred Thompson (if they're on the ballot), or as write-ins, will go far to express the conservative voting block's displeasure to the RNC.
If the sum total of those two candidates obtain as much as 10% of the popular vote, the "powers that be" know for certain that there's another 5% (at least) to mine out of the "Silent Majority"). The end result is that McLame (or McRomney) will have to slide in our direction at least somewhat on the issues.
That's how the Third Party has an effect on the American Two Party politial system. FYI: the Third Party is any party that is not Democrap or Repuke.
Investigation into political history is that the party that is losing share to the Third Party must, in order to survive, incorporate planks of the Third Party, or die. If suffiecient planks are incorporated, the party in power essentially transmgrigies into the Third Party (or they die) and the Third Party becomes the defacto second party. Party names may remain unchanged, but the parties must change in order to remain in power during times of flux. Or the party names may even change, but the fundamental and inherent core political ideology/philosophy changes only so much as to embrace the least amount of chnage to win the largest amount of minority voting block.
Cyanide is an honorable alternative, right?
Not that they need 10% in any one contest. They need as listtle as 10% in aggregate over the course of the entire primary season. Not to win, but to influence goals, objectives and policy naking.
So vote Hunter or Thompson if you still have that choice. But come November, you had better know where your vote is going (be able to bet your life on it).
Yeah, but the “Black Capsule” is painless.
You are so right.
Although I take no glee what-so-ever in McCain's health problems, that melanoma thing on his jowls and above his left eye is getting worst by the week.
If you'll notice, his left eye is constantly squeezing shut due to the buildup of pressure from the inside.
The intense campaigning schedule is only making him worse.
