I think you’ll see one emerging after Feb 6. Rep. Paul is most likely going to run on the LP ticket, and who knows who else will emerge?
Historically speaking, this is looking an awful lot like 1856. Just substitute “John McCain” for “Winfield Scott” and “GOP” for “Whig.”
