What would attract the seniors to McCain. I dont get it.
- He's old and they're old
- They want cheap illegal labor to mow their lawns
- They feel guilty about voting against Goldwater, and now they're comfortable with having an Arizonan maverick as CIC
- They haven't been paying attention to politics, and all they know about McInsane is he was a POW

maybe they don’t think romney is so solid when it comes to immigration that it doesn’t make a difference. I mean Romney does have a reputation...

(Hillary wants to be just like Gov. Granholm except more evil.)

A couple of your reasons that seniors vote for McCain are right on, except I’m sure that wanting cheap labor to do their lawns is exactly right. I’ve been thinking that a lot of the people who are not opposed to illegal immigration have no real experience with the other side of the immigration issue. The only Mexicans that they know are the hard working laborers who mow their lawns and clean their houses. They feel sorry for them, and like you said, they like the cheap labor.
