If McCain wins the nomination, perhaps it would be better for conservatives if Hillary or Obama won the election as opportunity often comes disguised in the form of misfortune or temporary defeat. Perhaps we need to learn a very tough lesson.

And it would be better how????????? In your life have you ever seen the Federal Government END an entitlement program??? Once Hildabeast gets her socialized health care passed, the income level for Social Security Tax raised along with a higher retirement age, along with a host of other programs to redistribute wealth from your pocket to ?????, what lesson will we learn, and who is gonna end those programs???? Thats the problem with thinking that we need a lesson. We lost the congress in 06...what lesson did we learn. I learned that if you sit on your rear end and not vote then we get our collective butts kicked. No thanks...

Some lessons need to be learned. Some are too expensive ... you have to survive the lesson.

I would not let a young child run out on a busy freeway or play with a loaded gun like a toy.

Anyhow, I don't think this is a lesson. If you put me on the beach in the face of a tsunami, I don't learn to swim better. I drown.
