Florida does their primary voting the RIGHT way. Closed to all but those who are registered in the proper party. No Democrats nor “independents” to skew the results in the Republican primary. ALL state primaries should be the same way.

Nonsense.. McCain won’t do good in the panhandle.. That’ll be Romney/Huckabee.

well then you and I are in total agreement, I do think Mccain would be a better leader with better military advisors than a democrat, but I also agree Mccain buys into things that to me are just idiotic. I think anyone who opposes ANWR oil is an idiot or just a disgusting panderer.
But I'll still vote for him over dems. Note that people here are worshipping Romney as a savior now, I'm not sure he's any rock ribbed conservative.

Afraid you may be right......lead is getting smaller percentage wise, not larger. Hope we’re both wrong!!

I don’t know what’s going on here. The FL state results don’t sound like what the big 3 are reporting. They’re all showing it even or McCain slightly ahead.

The only question is how long it will take Hillary to give a speech deploring the forces that would attempt to silence the votes of millions of people and declaring that she will not rest until all the votes are counted and every voice is heard! We won't have to wait too long as she's due to speak tonight in Florida.

Let’s see, Charlie Crist (We call him One-Term in these parts) and Mel Martinez endorsed McCain....The conservative Panhandle will strike the blow against these 2 clowns and give the win to Mitt. I saw Alan Bense (very popular former Florida Speaker of the House from Panama City, FL) out waving his pom-poms for Romney yesterday. Mitt made a last minute stop in the panhandle yesterday. Smart move.

“Romney is not pulling away with it. The votes that have been counted are in the middle of the state - good Romney country. The polls in the panhandle are still open. This is where McCain and Huckabee will dominate. If it is this close now, McCain will win tonight and Huckabee should beat Rudy.”
How do you know that? Intuitively, I’d expect the least liberal candidate to do the worst in the more conservative Panhandle.

I agree.
I am going to stop watching the results and come back at 10, but it does not look good.
Romney should be 10 points ahead at this point to win and overcome the SE corner of the state and retirement old people heaven.
