I refuse to believe this country is ready for a black guy with a muslim name.

I thought the same in 92, that there was no way this country would elect a draftdodger..........

Turn off the talking heads re the election. Don't be led by the chest thumpers here on FR and elsewhere. No one owns YOUR vote. You are the owner of your vote. Use this time to select a candidate that most closely matches your principles and issues that are important to you.

After you cast your vote, find and thank a veteran who protected your right to vote. Do something nice for yourself or others on voting day.

I agree - when he said that (in a debate!) I never looked at him seriously again. And then all racist remarks in his newsletters. Sorry, nope.

Sounds like a McCain win to me. The anchors and reporters are all gleeful and trying to contain themselves, discussing why McCain wins IF he wins here. And though they’re not saying, they already know. Ergo, it’s McCain.

If Romney loses FL does that put him out of the race for super Tuesday?

Pundits say no but the momentum will be for McShame heading into super Tuesday.

Pat Buchannan is a far better person than JON McCrazy. Makes me want to vote for paul even more.

The GOP is dead.

I respect military duty, my own family has a distinguished history of military service. That being said, military service, although honorable, is not reason enough to be POTUS. Jimmy Carter graduated from the Naval Academy near the top of his class and served in the Navy just like McCain. The one difference being, McCain graduated 5th from the bottom of his class at Annapolis.

Got my vote in.

I bunted instead of hitting a sac fly to either first base or second base.

If McCain had acted differently with the amnesty bill and the judge appointments, I could have supported him. But defying core base principles has consequences, and he needs to see that. The fact that all the states newspapers picked him re-inforced my stance not to pick him.

Romney I simply know very little about. He presents himself well, but where does he stand after words are said? For all the money he spent here, I didn’t see any phone calls/emails. Massachussets politics isn’t my cup of tea either, even if he navigated it as a Republican.

You'll never hear the mainstream media use his middle name, "Hussein".

NEVER. You can bet the house, the farm, and your inheritance on it.

So, McPain admits he knows nothing about the economy, but more Floriduh voters concerned about the economy vote for him over an expert on business and the economy. I gotta get outta here....

The corporations own McCain. They bought him when he chaired the Commerce committee.

“McCain is an old time pol who knows how to pander to his audience.”

So they shouldn’t talk about their life? What’s wrong in pointing out they adopted a girl from Bangladesh?

I certainly see nothing wrong with him mentioning his son is serving in Iraq, he should mention that. That’s the main gripe the anti-war crowd has against the war, and this shuts them up.

Romney saying his son are “serving the country by working on his campaign” are the things that don’t help in that regard.

I’m so sick of we conservatives denigrating the “blame the america first” crowd like Buchanan and Paul...we sound like a bunch of ignorant rednecks when we think our country is above scrutiny. I was embarrassed during the SC TV debate when Paul said “We gotta get out of these countries...we can’t afford it” , and he received Boos!

How on earth can voters favor McCain over Romney on the economy?

Bart.. is this a Mitt RoMONEY threat. Doesn’t anyone here realize this guy is not a moderate, he’s not a conservative, he’s a phoney. That’s the worst of all possible categories.

There are no perfect candidates left--if there were any to begin with. The point is not to let the dems win the WH when we're in a war on terror and the economy is soft. Unlike some others, if McCain wins the nomination (Heaven forbid), I won't stay home.

Who's Bart?
