It’s fine to dump all over McCain for amnesty etc. but I would think that Mitt supporters would want to steer clear of impugning his military record. This piece by Sampley is garbage. Does he want us to think less of McCain b/c he was shot down? If you want to bring people over to Mitt’s side please tout his conservative positions, not rubbish like this.
Btw, would you care to explain how it was that McCain “lost” his aircraft on 7/29/67 and 10/26/67?
To: Solitar
Given the wet kisses given to McCain in order to derail Romney by the MSM I would think they would do this no matter who is winning since the Panhandle is more conservative, less hospitable to McCain. I suppose anything that could limit this vote would probably be to his advantage.

I hear ya. I think I must have jinxed him. I voted early and two days later he dropped out.

I wouldn’t rely on “facts” from the “U.S. Veteran Dispatch”, unless you are extremely gullible. One look at the site just screams “not reliable”, plus they have a beef against John McCain for a long time, so no surprise they do this crap all the time.
To: propol
The exit polls wouldn’t include the early absentee voting, right? I saw multiple polls where Romney was ahead with those.

My bad, I didn't hear the part where he acknowledged the other candidates. I just caught the impassioned sermon for Obama and the references to the old ways.
But still, he harpooned Hillary by damning with faint praise. She probably stuck some more needles in her Teddy doll and twisted them.

I DESPISE ROMNEYCARE.
However, I think a business man will be workable in negotiation rather than a pinko socialist like hillary.
A capitalist will want a system to actually work, a socialist just wants the political power.

I sure do wish Fred hadn’t dropped out. Neither Mitt nor John thrill me, but they are aces better than Billary, Obama or any other Democrat!

I used to have a neighbor that was in McCain’s class at Annapolis and his flight training class. Most of what Sampley claims is true.

I bet they pull the same trick again and call it for McQueeg while the polls are still open in the FL panhandle to discourage Mitt supporters.Thing is, I think there are a lot of military folks in the panhandle. The support for McCain may be a little stronger among them, although that's just a guess. I know Schwarzkopf came out in support McCain couple days ago. It seems like the voting could break either way. If anyone out there is in the know, please chime in.

I feel really bad about tonight, and I am an ardent Mittwit. I guess we can take solace in the fact that a lot of white collars are voting now after work.
To: pianomikey
On his website he calls for the immediate repeal of McCain Feingold. Thanks for the fact-checking on that.
