Yes! DeMint wanted amnesty to go down the drain. He was one of the few Republicans to stick to his guns.

“after hearing that the Flordia election officials are cheating in favor of McCain, Im not so sure. McCain will probably win as a result.”
Why are they allowed to change the laws the day of the election? That sounds illegal and like fraud. Who allows this?
To: propol
They need to add Sheriff Joe Arpaio (AZ). He is a Mitt supporter!

Live exit poll data from Naples, FL. Caveat: it's a heavily conservative area where Bush got nearly 70% of the vote in 2000 and 2004.
Republican presidential primary
Mitt Romney - 119
John McCain - 80
Rudy Giuliani - 42
Mike Huckabee - 22
Fred Thompson 3
Ron Paul - 5

“seeking the truth” from Romney is very hard to do. Good luck with that.

My wife and I just filled out our absentee ballots, both of them for Romney.
I said I’d never vote for a Mormon but he’s clearly the best qualified candidate in either party, and I’ll just have to get used to his polished demeanor and the fact that he and Bob Eubanks were probably separated at birth.
Ross Perot said he observed in the Navy that Mormons always made excellent officers, partly because of their strong families and conservative upbringing. Results matter, I guess.

If McCain should win the nomination, what will you do?
To: abigailsmybaby
I didn't either. Here's a post where I posted a couple of links with more info about DeMint:

Heard Rush talking about his vote this afternoon.
MA has the same system. An Independent has to declare which ballot (Rep,Dem) s/he wants before s/he can vote.
