No offense, and Im no McCain fan, but Id rather vote for the guy who would let us win in Iraq than not vote and let the traitorous hag from NY wave the white flag and surrender to the Islamofascists.

Winner takes all the delegates, and Giuliani is probably not going to win, so no delegates.

It’s over, McCain has it.

Not by a long shot

The official Florida election site currently has Mitt with a 8,000 plus LEAD

This is why early voting really sucks. How many of the Thompson voters who voted early would’ve now went for Romney? My guess is that 80% of them and it could be the difference tonight. Early voting should be banned unless there is a valid reason someone cannot be at the polls.

That is way different than the official site which has Romney up by about 8k votes.

I don’t get where the networks get their numbers. How can they know the count before the state of Florida does? Whose doing the counting here? Florida or the networks?

Thank you.

Then maybe it’s not such a bad thing? I do worry that we’d still get a RINO. However, maybe it would shake up the party to at least listen to the conservatives that support the party?

I’m starting to think a real 3rd party, of conservatives, has to form and be electable. I don’t think it will happen this election but maybe next one.

My primary is next week. My husband and I have been talking about how to vote. I’m leaning towards Romney, and yeah I know he isn’t a real conservative but I also know McCain isn’t a real conservative. None of those running as republicans are true conservatives. The Republican party has always been the conservative party (for as long as I’ve been old enough to vote at least) but this year has made it clear it really isn’t conservative.

I'm getting heartburn. Miami Dade and Tampa are beginning to come in. Miami Dade favors McCain but the margins in Tampa are not as large as McShame wanted, thus far.

To make the evening more upsetting we now have the hildebeast ready to speak in Florida.

Seriously? I wouldn’t have ever believed any Cuban-American would be pro-amnesty, until Martinez made me ashamed to have voted for him.

One pundit said Rooty's failure in Fla was due to the worst-run campaign in two millenia.

The onetime national frontrunner's demise was attributed to his frequent campaigning---61 days straight in Fla.

The more people saw of him, the more they dislked him.

"Those damn FReepers. They murdered me
by endlessly outing all my foibles and failures."

If McCain is the nominee, the GOP is the big loser. A rift will develop that won’t be healed. No party nominates a “maverick” to be its nominee. We may see a third party forming around conservatism.

Notice that McAmnesty has increased lead from 10000 to 20000 votes per Fox since I have been watching last 30 min. Also Mitt spokesman was saing it would be a close one—not too confident sounding.

Looks like if Mitt does win, it’ll be close and late.
