Try applying some common sense and get back to me. There is a reason, despite all those Dolphin records and superlatives, that the rest of the league was not beating down the door of a then-career special teamer and the Patriots got him for a song.

Here's a hint: It has to do with the Dolphins win/loss record the past few years? And the fact that they were on the receiving end of the kick-offs a lot more than the kicking end? Think it over.

So NFL records mean nothing to you huh? If Wes was so pathetic, why did the Patriots hire him? Perhaps they saw the potential, just as the Texas Tech coach did when he offered in a position on the team when no one else wanted him.
