We got caught in a downpour yesterday afternoon leaving Kaiser Med. The umbrella didn't do a whole lot of good as the wind was driving the rain horizontally. brrr.

During the drive home, the rainfall slowed to a drizzle, and as we turned up our street, God painted the sky for us...

Evening All.. What a lousy host I am.

Huge two days here with the toll fight, another media frenzy as the New York Comptroller released a scathing report out on the thruway authority and I was in the middle of the whole thing up here in Buffalo.

Everything we have been saying for two years was confirmed by Tom DiNapoli which gave our fight a huge boost and credibility. There are articles and film clips at all 3 TV stations here. and my blog.http://albanysinsanity.wnymedia.net/blogs/

- MIDDLE EAST (Jan. 18, 2008) An SH-60 Seahawk assigned to the "Easy Riders" of Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron (Light) (HSL) 37, embarked aboard the guided-missile cruiser USS Port Royal (CG 73), hovers over the forecastle during a vertical replenishment. The guided-missile destroyer USS Hopper (DDG 70), upper middle, is refueling at sea with Military Sealift Command fleet replenishment oiler USNS John Lenthall (T-AO 189). Port Royal is deployed to the 5th Fleet area of responsibility as part of a scheduled deployment.
