You need some history, here.

It was conventional wisdom in 1960 that Democrats would never nominate a Catholic.

I know that sounds quaint today, but it was a _big_ deal then.

They will nominate Obama because a majority of Democrats have _finally_ had enough of the Clintons and because he is a great speaker that appeals to their emotions.

If the democrats have changed their racist stripes, Obama would have won New Hampshire. There is a big difference between democrats nominating a Catholic and democrats nominating a black. Hillary will be their nominee and the blacks will line up behind her when all is said and done.
