Keith, that's not gonna sit well with the true believers in your party who liken Guantanamo to Auschwitz.
Comments or opinions - anyone?
Wait, what...they let him leave?
Ellison is showing great discipline.
He’s following the real agenda of the few intelligent Democrats...
talking like a sane person until a Democrat is elected President.
He still whines that there’s no “Habeus” there, must suck to be a captured international terrorist that can’t get American constitutional guarantees.
Ellison probably ought to reconsider the “fair trials” deal ~ most of the pukes left at Gitmo would most likely be executed for warcrimes (among other things).

Been to Iraq or Afghanistan lately - into the fire zones???
Oh yeah, I got comments.
Like who in the hell are these people representing? You’ve got Ellison going to Cuba, and Betty McCollum and Mee Moua setting up missions to investigate Hmong graves in Thailand.
The whole thing’s outta control.
and some went straight back to the terrorist camps and started all over again -
He’s working, knowingly, as an agitproper with the aim of assisting our enemy in gaining access to our civil criminal courts.
This desire was most clearly spelled out in captured AQ training documents in Afghanistan, Pakistan and elsewhere and is well known. No one agitating for this can be unknowing of the stated desire of the AQ trained terrorists in gaining such access.
The desire is to have a pulpit to spew their propaganda. A mechanism to force classified documents out from under secure protection through court disclosures. The ability to tie up the courts and play to the knee jerk anti-Americanism, both foreign and domestic. Etc etc.
This rep, and all those pulling the same bit of treason, are working as enemy agents.
They do so knowingly. They do so willingly. They do so openly.
The AQ desires for court access and the consequences of that were well and constantly discussed early in this war.
Great. Now he’s going to go report to Osama. Obama. Hell, whatever his name is.
What else is this jihad loving fudksucker going to say?
Rep. Ellison seems to be a bit of a security risk, why was he allowed to go to Guantanamo in the first place?
It would seem, particularly with the connection that exists between Ellison and the Flying Imams, that he could be a risk to pass information between the prisoners and terrorists who are still at large.
Barring him from Guantanamo would have seemed to be a more prudent course of action.
Kieth; Let them fly an airplane into a building you are in then say it all again. Comeon, show the little girls ya got guts. You JERK.
He needs to tell McCain! McCain wants to close Guantanamo!
Ellison has come to Iraq last summer about August. As a result of his trip here he modified his views of the need for a timeline. He was impressed with General Patraeus. He met with Sunni religious leader who are supportive of US presence in Iraq. At least he came with an open mind unlike many other congressional delegations.
We need to get Ellison a Club Gitmo t-shirt.
Why were Ellison’s expectations so low?
Wow. I’m so relieved. I’ve been sweating Ellison’s approval since I first found out he was going there.
. . . but he’d still like to see avowed-terrorist combatants offered the full legal privileges accorded to American citizens. Thanks again, Minneapolis libs and anarchists.
