One mistake in the piece, Romney ran for election not re-election in 2002.

So if I send my daughter to a Mass. university I can't send a can of pepper spray with her because a governor/presidential candidate who has a host of armed bodyguards says so?

I'll be damned if that dog'll hunt.

The more I look at our choices this year for the primary contests and the eventual general election, the more depressing all of this is getting....

So his position is the same as that of the Bush Administration, as expressed in the amici brief of the United States in the "Heller" case now before the Supreme Court. To wit: "The Second Amendment protects an individual right, which can be infringed for any reason we (government) darn well please."

Of course that would seem be in direct conflict with "shall NOT be infringed".

Still better than the DemonRat former Justice Department types, in the brief by "Janet Reno, et al", which maintains that "right of the people", means "power of the states" and "shall not be infringed" is obsolete.

Without a FID in Massachusetts, you are a felon if you possess a single bullet, even if you don’t own a gun.

This sound familiar!

TEMPLE RECOMMEND

No one is admitted into a Mormon temple without a “Temple Recommend.” The recommend is an identification card which verifies that the member is in good standing (i.e. paid a full tithe, is morally clean, doctrinally pure, has kept the “Word of Wisdom,” etc.). In other words, the temple recommend-carrying Mormon has been approved and deemed “worthy” of entering the sacred temple. The only time a non-Mormon (Gentile) can enter a temple is during an open house held shortly before it is dedicated or after a renovation.

The most disturbing part of all this is that we must have a lobby group like the NRA in DC to defend our Constitutional 2A rights. None of this would be necessary if the Congress and the President would honor our Constitution.

The most disgusting part about it all is how some sheeple
brag about these brokered deals involving what is our God given as well as Constitutional right to protect and defend ourselves.

Bottom line, our God given and Constitutional rights to protect and defend our lives, our families, and our property are non-negotiable. The fact they have been brokered away with restrictive measures should be a wake up call for all.

I consider any politician complicit in these brokered deals an enemy of freedom.
