Maryland is having a competitive congressional primary in one of our only two Republican seats, because the incumbent votes with Ms Pelosi on almost every vote. Whether as head of GOPAC or just on his own, he and Newt Gingrich came to a fundraiser for the incumbent RINO. They must have gotten an earful from a lot of traditional Md donors or R voters, because the morning after this fundraiser, Steele was on a local talk show and he sounded rattled and out of control. I was really disappointed. Perhaps running GOPAC has been harder than he expected.
