Its top five for most conservatives. There are 80 million gun owners in America. They disagree with you. I specifically said "assault weapons ban" not the 2nd amendment which Romney supports. Romney just goes along with the Brady bill and has a lot of company on that. Its the status quo. So I don't believe the assault weapons ban itself is a top 5 issue among very many people. Its certainly not a hot button with me. I could care less about owning an assault weapon.

Gun control, assault weapons ban, the RKBA and support for the Second Amendment are related issues that are intertwined with most gun owners.
Romney and Giuliani are liberal gun grabbers who don't respect the 2nd amendment rights of the American people.
