McCain needs to convince real Real Republicans (not Independents) he is the person who should be President.
So far, McCain has not scored many points tonight. This is one of the few chances McCain will have. Many people will not watch this debate tonight. So, McCain has an uphill fight to convince all these people to vote for him.
Prediction: If Fred endorses Romney, Fred will be his VP, even though he said he wouldn’t accept a VP slot.
