I know how Rush feels. There’s a good chance I won’t be voting Republican for president in November.

I won’t vote for Mr. Giuliani.

I won’t vote for Mr. Huckabee.

Unless he starts faking his sincerity better, I won’t vote for Mr. Romney.

I might manage to bring myself to hold my nose and vote for Mr. McCain, but that’s kind of iffy.

Rush has already endorsed by omission.

He’d support Rudy or Mitt at this point.

Rush is a master of manipulating the MSM for fun and profit.

Over the weekend there were stories that Rush was now irrelevant since McInsane won SC in spite of Rush’s campaign against him, so Rush says this, sits back and waits for stories like this, then points to them as evidence that he is still a powerful and influential part of the conservative politics. Rush will be supporting Mitt once he is nominated, don’t worry about that.

Conservative radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh stunned his listeners by announcing that he might not support the Republican presidential nominee in this year’s election.

He has said that twice before. I agree with him, there is no longer a conservative on the ticket.

I started on my absentee Ballot last Saturday. I sent aside my pick for the Republican Presidential Primary and voted no on all the California Democrat/Arnold pork filled props. Every day since then I have looked at the ballot and tried to come to terms with the Republican candidate, thinking one would begin to stand out.

Today I mailed it in without choosing anyone. The thought of Billary sickens me, but even with that in mind I can’t, in good faith pick any of the above. I have voted 100% Republican since 1980, now I feel homeless.

This is the price the GOP has to pay for building the “big tent party” based on eveyones idea instead of their true base, Conservatives. While President Bush hasn’t been Conservative’s best friend it’s the Specters, Collins, Snowes and Hagels that have drove the stake in the GOP’s heart.

In the end he will, because he’ll come to his senses and realizes having to look at Shrillary and Bubba’s antics for for 4 more years...is much too unthinkable!

But then again, he’ll have material for 4 years.

But then again, he’ll have material...trust me El Rushbo!

He makes a good argument about the country getting ruined on the hypocrats watch, but my feeling is it’s not worth the risk to damage it beyond the point of return either!

Grow up Rush you bozo. It does’nt really matter who becomes POTUS to you personally because you’ll be safe and secure, with a few hundred million in the bank. Even if the Evil Witch gets in and shuts down your radio show, you’ll still be OK.

ANY ONE WHO THINKS THIS GREATY COUNTRY WILL BE WORSE OFF WITH ROMMNEY, MCCAIN, HUCKBERRY, OR RUDY in the fat seat vs The Evil One HAS FREAKING BRAIN DAMAGE.

Is that clear?

Clarified: Why I Might Not Vote for the GOP Nominee in November

According to Rasmussen, nationally for Republicans:

John McCain 25%, Mitt Romney 21%, Mike Huckabee 19%, and Rudy Giuliani at 11%

I cannot remember a time, at this point of the electoral season, that Republicans have been so fractured.

I truly think that the questionable candidates, knowing they were questionable, raised much money, very early. I think much of this money came from other than grass-root sources. These sources probably have also put money on the Dem side and are covering their bases.

This money gave a perception of support not in line with the opinions of the Republican rank and file. Thus we have three not-popular-with-republican-voter candidates (and one “other”) buying buzz, but no real support. I think Huck has become the “other” candidate through his social-conservative support, but what he gains on social issues he looses in immigration, taxes, spending and Lord only knows what he thinks of in regards to defense...

My prayers are for a brokered convention. I could live with Newt, Thompson, Duncan, Santorum, or any number of other “real” conservative that have been interested but unable to compete...

Rush was not talking about a brokered convention as many of the posts on this thread are saying. He was talking about what he would do if McCain becomes the nominee, and he is correct.

Yawn......

Rush is no kingmaker. If he chooses not to, so be it.

And if the Republican Nominee wins without his support, what will he have proven? That he doesn’t have the influence that he thinks he does... just like the rabid evangelical leaders who think they can play kingmaker.

It doesn't matter who wins, Rush has skewered them all straight through like a Rush Kabob. "If McCain or Huckabee win, then the GOP will be destroyed". Well, if Rudy or Flip win you might as well say the same, because the Maharushie has already served the Koolaid. There is no way the Red State South is ever going to vote for gun grabbing, carpetbagging, child sacrificing take your pick:(Rudy Mayor of New Sodom or Flip the Governor of Gay Marrigchusetts) so it's already over!

By the time this Hurricane Katrina of an election gets to KY I'm going to enjoy voting for Ron Paul.
