Oh, please, if he was looking for a job he wouldn’t have endorsed the candidate viewed as the most likely one to drop out next. I personally think he made the right choice of who to endorse but I can understand debating the wisdom of his decision. However, you should not attack the integrity of this fine man. Especially when the allegation is patently ridiculous. If Hunter had wanted a job he would have endorsed Romney or McCain who both have a reasonable chance to win the election.
I have researched Mike Huckabee thoroughly and found that it’s not the magnitude of the his individual ethical lapses, rather it’s the shear number. Hypocrisy from someone who claims to have been a Baptist pastor (without actual credentials even though he claimed a theology degree) will make him an easy target in the general election. Yes, he seems to be a nice guy and he’s a great communicator, but his history is too riddled with numerous problems to be a truly viable candidate- ethical behavior should be standard for a presidential candidate. Whoever the Democratic nominee is will most certainly dust these ethical lapses off for the general election. Beyond that his record is certainly not very conservative and many of his campaign trail conversions are suspect- especially on the border issue.
I know Huckabee has complimented DH by indicating he would be his choice for Secretary of Defense, but it was not necessary for him to endorse Huck to get that position should he be the nominee, which currently appears to be quite doubtful.
