At the end of the day the Huckster is the only one that offered DH a job and DH needs a job since hes out of congress come January. No other top tier candidate is going to offer him a job. Hes managed to torque off all the remaining candidates except Huck. In this case hes not thinking of America first and I can understand his perspective. After 26 years his job is no longer secure. Ummmm, you got to be kidding me. 26 years of congress and Duncan has it made buddy. The retirement from there is awesome. Duncan isn't hurting for money or a job offer.
It is basically policy to endorse someone after you quit... Huck sucks, but he IMHO is better than the rest by far.

Absent a GOP administration, DH is out of a job. Had he chilled, he could have gotten a job in any GOP administration. Now he’s thrown his support behind a sure loser and even that is uncertain.

He may not be better than the rest, but he certainly can’t be any worse. I am not sure why people are so surprised. We knew he would endorse someone. Who was Hunter going to endorse? Romney? McCain? Rudy? McCain isn’t very bright and I still would like to know what meds they have him on to keep him so calm for this long. Rudy is a NY liberal. Romney and Huck are basically the same, Romney has a larger checkbook to runs ads pretending he has always been with us. Whichever of those two wins is fine with me as I really couldn’t care less. It is like the choice between a kick in the crotch and a toothache; You don’t want either but you know when it’s said and done you are going to get one or the other. heh :)
