What could he have been thinking? Lesser of evils, no doubt. IMO, Hunter was always more of a social conservative than a fiscal one. Given the choices, there wasn't really anyone that matched his overall views that closely.

Someone said he was disgusted with Romney because of some deal one of Romney’s enterprises made with the Chinese who made things that were used to kill our troops in Iraq. I read this on the “Farwell to Fred and Romney” thread toward the beginning. Don’t know if it’s true...
