At the point that the officer was asking her to move from the second location, the manager should have approached and told her her order was free and given her a bunch of coupons if she would move again. That would have settled it for all the older loved ones that most of us have dealt with.
There are many ways of diffusing these types of situations. The other saying is “the customer is always right.” Of course, the customer isn’t always right, but sometimes it doesn’t take much to fix the situation and be a hero instead of a media zero.
