Mitt is our guy now.

Doesn't matter to those suffering from RDS (Romney Derangement Syndrome). They'll continue to litter Romney threads with this stuff...

Mitt is our guy now.

Maybe "yours", but certainly not mine.

Perhaps this will refresh your memory on Romney:

To Quote ROmney's own words:

"I signed–I would have supported the original assault weapon ban. ~~ snip ~~ And if there is determined to be, from time to time, a weapon of such lethality that it poses a grave risk to our law enforcement personnel, that’s something I would consider signing."

Here's an interesting post from www.fredthompsonforum.com.

"In his 1994 US Senate run, Romney backed two gun-control measures strongly opposed by the National Rifle Association and other gun-rights groups: the Brady Bill, which imposed a five-day waiting period on gun sales, and a ban on certain assault weapons"

And in 2002, when he was running for Governor of MA, Romney praised the state’s strong gun laws in a debate against Democrat Shannon O’Brien. “We do have tough gun laws in Massachusetts; I support them,” he said. “I won’t chip away at them; I believe they protect us and provide for our safety.”

The most significant gun legislation Romney signed, as governor, was a 2004 measure instituting a permanent ban on assault weapons. The law was based on the federal assault weapons ban, which was set to expire. According to activists at the time, the bill made Massachusetts the first state to enact its own such ban, and Romney praised this move.

Romney's conversion on abortion is quite simply an election year accommodation along with the "hunter all my lifetime" thing, and Romney's not even honest.

Huckabee is just not very bright, Romney is smart and he is trying to buy the White House -- he is also smarmy and most of all he is a flipper....

Then thereis McCain -- he truly lives up to his reputation as a maverick voting with the democrats 9 times out of 10...and putting out feelers to change to the democratic party back in 2001 when he was a poor loser to George Bush and even as recently as 2004 considering the Veep spot with Kerry.
