Conservatives are proud of our principles and ideology. We in fact celebrate it. You do not give us enough credit... if ever there were a bedrock of the Republican Party... it is the foundation of Conservatives who have up until 2006... never wavered. We are now in uncharted territory.

I do give us credit but unfortunately the GOP doesn’t. The GOP Moderates and libs have used their minority in the party along with the Rats to block every Conservative principle. The Moderates play this game every election and get the nomination then surround themselves with Conservatives to appease the base without the base control. There is no Conservative Candidate now with Thompson out so our only hope at this point is a Conservative VP or the Moderate Candidate having Conservatives surround them but they will not be in the control position. The point of my statement was that whatever RINO gets the nomination and picks the Conservative running mate will get the vote even by us that have previously claimed we would never vote for the RINO.
