apparently not. People that sit out 2008 deserve what they get....I don’t want to hear any bitching and moaning from people that sat on their butts and let Hillary or Obama get voted in.

Exactly!!! Didn't they learn anything, from the elections in 2006? No, not exactly, unless the 'they' to which you refer is the GOP. It is quite obvious that they learned nothing from 2006. When I refer to the GOP, that includes the electorate as well. They are as responsible as the party elites and machinery. This country has survived a great deal and I am sure it will survive this.
