Again, it’s not for you - or anyone- to say what his motivation is or was to finally come around to the only correct point of view. Be dubious? Sure. Keep his
feet to the fire? Absolutely! Given what’s left in the GOP field I think it comes down to having to give him the benefit of the doubt.
What’s this “it’s not for me” stuff? Of course it’s for me. I’m a VOTER and this is an ELECTION. I’m not his MORAL JUDGE.
As a voter, I deem his “conversion of convenience” too risky to trust.
However, as I’ve said, IF he in the next few weeks announces Santorum, Delay, Hunter, or Thompson as his running mate, then I’ll support him.
That clearly IDs my interest being in promoting a real conservative for the future while going on record as “risking” a liar for the present.
