Carl Cameron says it'll become offical sometime later this week.

Oh well, we're doomed. Let's hope it'll be minimal damage until 2012.

The GOP voters have already harmed the country by their Presidential choices this year.

It’s sad when the Canadians do a better job picking conservative candidates than Americans do...

Meanwhile, McCain graduated near the BOTTOM of his class at the Naval Academy.

I admit mitt romney is quite the looker for an older fellow hehehehehehehe

hehehe

however I also support him because he never cooked a squirrel in a popcorn popper in a dorm room :P and he seems like he could beat the democrats

also he is alot less liberal than the democrats (hillary and obama) who i am certain would render the country unrecognizable in four years with their loopy leftist ideas

Oh he tried. As much time as he could possibly could without missing the most critical votes he was on the campaign trail.

Unfortunately, alot of conservatives wanted a celebrity, drafted a baker protege, put a used Reagan suit on him, and tried to cram him down our throat.

The whole spectacle stunk to high heaven, and money that could have gone to Hunter was given to help a McCain stalking horse.

But you had fun while it lasted.

Remember, he was supposed to be more 'electable' than Hunter.

“Strong on defense, understands business & free markets, optimistic, etc)”

Isn’t that the Reagan formula after all?

People keep waiting for Reagan, and the most Reaganesque campaign comes along in a long while and they dont even see it in front of them.

this speech reminded me a lot of Reagan’s speeches, especially his comments about Washington:

That was pretty quick. Who’s the operative here who told him to do that?

Duncan Hunter lost for the same reason Thompson lost, he wasn’t good enough to win.

Hunter supporters blaming Thompson is as lame as Thompson supporters blaming the media.

Who the heck will I hold my nose and pull the lever for now? F* it, I’m still gonna write in Duncan Hunter.

AuntB, do you have that link to the video that was posted a couple of weeks ago with Paul talking about immigration and rewarding those who 'work hard' outside the system? I'm sure everyone will want to see that as the Paul vultures try to pick up Thompson supporters.

At this point, I’d just as soon vote for Paul as anyone else.

Well I guess that whole thing didn't go as planned. :-P First chuckle I've had since hearing the Thompson news.

I agree, but please don’t compare former President Jimmy Carter with Cheese Whiz. I like Cheese Whiz.

Wow, I can’t tell you how much I agree with your post, especially concerning Fred torpedoeing Hunter. I thought I was the only one who thought that.

Only because of NYC, which is so blue that it even went for Mondale in 84. That means us upstaters, even with these winner-take-all primaries, get no voice whatsoever. It’s pathetic.

Yes, if Hunter had 1/10th of the donations Fred had, he might have spared us the whole debacle.
