Carl Cameron says it'll become offical sometime later this week.

Oh well, we're doomed. Let's hope it'll be minimal damage until 2012.

And Ron Paul is the only person who would keep me from staying home.

He goes on with his specific proposals:

Secure The Border. Follow through on Congressional commitment to build a physical and technological fence along the southern border, and secure other points of entry.

Implement An Enforceable Employer Verification System. Issue a biometrically-enabled and tamperproof card to non-citizens and create a national database for non-citizens so employers can easily verify their legal status in this country.

Reject Amnesty. Do not give amnesty or any special pathway to those who have come to this country illegally.

Punish Sanctuary Cities. Cut back federal funding to cities that are “sanctuaries” for illegal immigrants and refuse to comply with federal law or aid federal law enforcement.

Improve Interior Enforcement. Provide resources to enforce immigration laws throughout the nation, and crackdown on employers who continue to hire illegals with stiffer fines and penalties.

Encourage Legal Immigration. Streamline the system to recruit and retain skilled workers and welcome the best and the brightest from around the world to our universities.

This really sucks...Romney’s my second, but damn I was hoping for a Fred-rebound in the South.

You’re welcome. It’s a great site.

I do agree that something is afoot. Like, they took both conservatives out and left us the RINOS.

I am disappointed because I thought maybe; just maybe we could get something going for America. We will eventually. Sooner than later I hope. I know a lot of us have really not liked our alledged leaders in Congress, etc for a long time and their total disdain for the people. It’s just a matter of time and they know that.

“Hey ya’ll. Looks like I’m a Ron Paul supporter now. What are you two going to do?”

Me too.

Come on in, the water’s fine. :)

I found myself shocked a few weeks ago to discover that I had become one.

A lot of it had to do with some of the attack posts here on FR - they seemed outlandish. Either the posters were trolling, or Paul was really weird.

I researched him myself.... and liked what I found.

Are you on cj wolf’s ping list?

It’s low volume but high quality.

Yeah, and when Hillary appoints 2-3 three more Ruth Bader Ginsbergs we'll be a lot better off.

Perhaps, I am an idiot but, I do do understand that the Democrats will continue to control the U.S. Senate after the 2008 elections and most likely after the 2010 election.

That being the case, do you really expect that a President John McCain will be able to appoint conservatives to the SCOTUS?

something is afoot.

Oh, I'm pretty positive about that...and I have some inklings about what. Regardless, though, too many people remain sheeple....and, you're right, time is running out....though it is more likely the serfs will get the ax falling on them first.

So how do you see it? Personally I think we will be very lucky if McCain doesn’t end up the Pub nominee. I heard today some polls are showing him ahead of Rudy in NY. It wouldn’t surprise me if he won CA either. I’m not real optimistic.

This should not be a surprise to anyone, whether you support him or not.

Sadly, you're correct.

Same here, but that was many months ago....and I read up on many things about him (no, not everything, but many things)...first I started with all the wild accusations made against him. It seemed to me that most all were words of his taken completely out of context and, therefore, unfounded. Of the other remaining concerns....some still remain, but, heck, he was my third choice (1. Tancredo; 2. Hunter). So....if the RINO's want to pump up the RINO candidates, they got me voting for an actual Republican candidate who leans liberatarian. That's a heck of a lot better than a Rat with lipstick on an "R" ticket, any old time.

No, I'm not on any ping lists...would appreciate being added, though.
