I appreciate the concern about the cheating, but as I understood the whole thing, the tapes that were made were to be used in the NEXT game against the jets. So, while they were cheating in making the tapes, the tapes were never used...and thus the Pats never benefitted from the ill-gotten-gains.

So, fine them and get over it.

And, does anyone really think that they needed the tapes to win against the Jets. Come on.

Its OK to not be a Pats fan, but you have to respect the talent. Come on...just accept the inevitable. It makes it so much easier....

Because it is against the rules??? New England had been warned before. If I rob a bank and don't spend the money, is it still against the law?

I think we have kicked all the life we can out of this dead horse.

Please read what I have said - while New England got caught cheating and they are classless and arrogant, they could be the best team I have ever seen.

Wrong. The Pats have been doing this for years. They were suspected as far back as 2002 of this but where only caught this year. They have the defensive playbook of every NFL team and that probably explains their success.
