I’m with you on Romney. He is far more likely to preserve the conservative agenda than McCain is.

Since abortion gets posters riled up the most, let’s look at it objectively. Romney will run on a pro-life position. People here may not believe him, but do you believe a President Romney would want to be re-elected? I do. Having won, he would govern as a pro-life president (judges, etc.) knowing he would have to get the conservative vote for re-election. Even if you dismiss the ideology, political practicality tells you he would do so.

If you can accept that, then I think there’s no question he’s better than McCain (or any Dem) on national security, immigration, taxes...and being an outsider.

If he can be elected with a record of appointing liberals to the bench, and a socialist boondoggle as his policy centerpiece, why would he need the conservative vote to be re-elected.? Wishful thinking got us into this mess.
