If the newsletters were much ado about nothing, why is the Paul campaign line "He was too busy to watch that" instead of "What, I don't see any racist stuff in there?" If the newsletters were much ado about nothing, why are Paul supporters wrestling with it in the same way that Dave Bonior had to wrestle with the Monica mess? Example here. And are you really supporting a guy for leader of the Free World who couldn't manage a newsletter properly?

That 'monster' was busy delivering babies.

He has admitted that he should have been more diligent in his oversight of the newsletters.

What President hasn't been let down by those they have trusted?

But from I read of the articles, they weren't so much racist as simply not PC.

Yes, that's true and good for him if he's a good OB. I hope he goes back to it. However, this is not a mere lack of diligence or distraction. This is a guy saying, "I'll put something out with my name on it for years at a time and not check on it." That is collossally inept. That makes JFK getting his boat cut in half by a destroyer look like Washington at Yorktown.
