Gut reasons are the polls (Yes, I know, but they're never off far enough for Thompson to not get creamed like a bug on a windshield) and the fact that I am always disappointed when my guy starts from behind. If Thompson can't defeat the biggest loon we've had come down the pike since LaRouche, then it's over. I'd rather see a Dem win in November, than have a Republican who will enact the Democrat platform. Let the Dems take the heat for their socialist policies.
Today will be the last day I self-identify as GOP. I'm re-registering Monday as Indy.
