Huckabee appointed no Conservatives while president of the Arkansas Southern Baptist Convention. He only appointed revisionists and Liberals and stood in opposition to the reforms sought by Adrian Rogers and others. It was only when he saw the handwriting on the wall that he pulled his usual tactic of siding with the new winners. He is a man who seeks Man’s approval over God’s approval.

This is interesting to me. I'll do some research on it. Do you think Huckabee is a Christian at all? I'm not sure any of the candidates are.

I truly hope the next SC poll shows Huckabee in third and continuing to drop

It's too late for any polls in SC to matter, don't you think?

Should have been FL poll... sorry. I cannot document the Florida ad buy as I thought I could. It was a blog entry by a campaign worker and there are too may thousands of them to weed through with no search. The last I saw, somewhere in December, Thompson had $7million on hand and Huckabee $600,000. They announced plans to take the huge extra amount from their truck fund raiser and put it into FL and later states as they got more than they needed for Iowa and South Carolina.

I am no Dobson. I cannot speak for Huckabee’s status with God. His testimony, however, leaves much to be desired. I was truly hoping we would get a genuine, conservative Christian in the race this time. My opinion is he did not.
