That's because Republicans didn't vote for him. Independents and Democrats did. Over half of SC Democrats are black, and they'll all vote Obama. The Dem primary in SC is a done deal--nothing to lose by screwing SC conservatives by voting for McCain.

I'm sorry, but you are wrong. Virtually no Dems voted today. I live in a Dem area, and our precint was very slow for turnout today.

I agree. My precinct was moved to a different location today, we shared a location with a heavy dem adjacent precinct. When I voted around noon, the other precinct had 3 signatures on their sign-in sheet. I asked, there were not previous pages, they had 3 voters half-way through the day.
