That way, a number of delegates will be spread out between McCain, Huckabee, and Thompson and Romney will have 3 times the delegates (after his win in Nevada today) as his closest opponent. A Thompson win in South Carolina today would be the best thing that could happen to Romney there (well, besides Romney somehow winning S.C., of course.)

Then we would get a real and substantive debate on the issues, and may the best man win (and the other run as VP).
