You know, those people voting McCain and Huckabee… hasn’t the complaint been that we’ve been sending people to DC to be conservative, only to see them not govern that way? Remember losing last year?

If these hold up, time for FDT to bow out gracefully

You’re correct. I hate the result myself but it’s the result that I’m going to have to accept.

>>Well, I recommend that everyone stop telling how they voted , during exit polls. No one makes you.<<

I don’t really understand talking to pollsters in general - it would seem they only get people who don’t care about their privacy enough.

McCain was very happy with tax cuts (he said so and voted so) as long as they were accompanied with spending cuts.

"McCain/Huckabee might be a good ticket," Suggs said.

OMG

You are not unique at all. I had an open mind about Huckabee. Each day that passes, he disturbs me more & more. It would take a miracle for him to get my vote in general (not that it would matter, he would get obliterated in a general election).

Proof there should be an IQ test for voters.

"Well then let’s give thanks to the rubes in South Carolina for voting those boobs #1 and #2."

Fox exit polls have Fred 4th. I'm convinced primary voters just go with who they "like" the best and don't have a clue about the issues. Same with general election voters.

McCain - Huckabee is the nightmare ticket.

I don’t think he could sway anyone that wasn’t already for McCain.
DeMint endorsed Romney which both surprised and disappointed me. DeMint is a great conservative. He is especially good in fiscal matters, and according to his ad, that’s why he’s backing Romney.

I didn’t see the Forbes interview today. But I have seen him several times recently and he’s always either been introduced as a Rudy supporter or disclosed it himself.

He didn't seem to cover 4th.

COLUMBIA, S.C. -- Fred Thompson, trailing Mike Huckabee and John McCain in the polls, will continue his presidential bid even if he finishes third in today's South Carolina primary, his campaign said.

[Exit poll data]

“LOL. You seriously think it’s going to influence the election?”

Probably not. But you still should not post it.

Nonetheless, I remember the quality of exit poll data in 2004.

Rubbish.

Do you think they take exit polls at every precinct? No.

Do you think they compensate for the possibility that different candidate’s voters might vote at different times?
No

Do you think exit polls are a random, statistically significant sample? No

Disregard whatever numbers you have.
