Please go see how many times he has negotiated with Ted Kennedy. Or please just go to http://www.senate.gov and do a little historical reading on the man that you think is a conservative.

I seriously doubt that you are what you claim, but I'll play along. Let me appeal to your "common sense". If McCain wins the GOP nomination, (God forbid) and runs against Hillary in November here's the likely scenario:

Women (especially the all important soccer Moms) will be appalled by McCain's adultery and abandonment of his first wife who was disabled in a horrific car accident. McCain replaces first wife and mother of his children with another woman who is not only 17 years younger than himself, but is wealthy and extremely politically connected. McCain uses his second wife, her money and her family to launch his political career.
