Jay Rockefeller, you are quite the scumbag now aren’t you...... this sounds almost ‘Nixonian’..... except that Nixon did not enjoy the advantages of a servile liberal media so eager to take its talking points from the current WH administration.

A forerunner of the infamous secret memo among the ‘Rats in Rockefeller’s staff on the Senate Intel Committee about how to use the work of the supposedly bi-partisan, supposedly patriotic Intel Committee to wage electoral war against Republicans in 2004 and beyond.
