I worked with a guy who was a navigator on a B-52 stationed in Guam. They actually went to Saigon to party. I can’t imagine a bunch of guys in Diego Garcia saying “Hey, let’s fly to Kabul and party”.

Haa haaaa! That’s funny!
Seriously, though, part of the reason the hotel was attacked a couple days ago, and restaurants that foreigners frequent are threatened to come under attack is due to the underground partying. There are lots of brothels in Kabul, too.
