If China wants to retake Formosa there is nothing the U.S. could do short of getting into a full scale war with her.

Exactly so. The good thing is China knows this also. Has since...well Formosa’s been Formosa!

Which means the good people of Formosa get to go along living their lives on an Island that’s NOT right up there at the top of the worst human rights abuses list...

along with South Korea, Japan, Phillipines...etc. etc. etc.
