I understand the “Hunter for VP” sentiment ... but I really don’t see any upside to choosing Duncan Hunter. He doesn’t have a particularly big name — and he likely won’t bring any voters that Fred Thompson couldn’t win by himself.

It’d be a feel-good pick around here ... but he just doesn’t fit the bill.
