I thought this aricle has going to be about all the stupid pink packaging “for the cure” invading the supermarket shelves. It’s even on salt and vanilla extract. And yeast, fer gawdssake!

Good cause and all that, but those pink appliances are vomit-inducing. Who wants a pink fridge or a pink dishwasher?

It's a good thing they don't make pink cars. Oh wait, the Mary Kay cars.

Well, some of us girls do. But if we’re married we can’t really have as many pink girly things as we’d like. It’s all about compromise and muted off white colors. But if I had my way.....and I was single....it would probably be a different story.

And then there's the pink mixer. Now that might look cute in the right kitchen but because of the forced association with "the cure", forget it. Who wants to be constantly reminded of breast cancer when mixing up a cake?

Oh, and I saw pink m&m's a couple of months ago. My initial reaction was, "Great! Now they're selling them by individual color, I think I'll buy --" Nevermind. I saw the "cure" label. Ugh. Can't even indulge in some generic chocolate without do-gooders ramming some awareness agenda down my throat at the same time. Hopefully sales are poor for all the pink cr@p and the market will prevail.
